This week we are highlighting our Seattle technician, Ian H. Ian has been working in the automotive industry for about 12 years, the last 1.5 years with Wrench. When he was younger, he didn't have a specific moment where he became interested in cars. Looking back, he has always been interested in them. When he was in 2nd or 3rd grade, he can remember standing on the sidewalk with a friend calling out the make and model of cars driving by before they passed. From that point on, it went from a little game to more of an obsession. Don't believe us? Just ask his wife!

In the 1.5 years that Ian has been working with us, he has performed hundreds of auto repair and maintenance services. His most memorable service call was the first job he ever had with Wrench.

"It was just simple a brake pad replacement and I had the first day jitters. The experience was just awesome! The customer was super nice and everything went great! I was able to get the job done in a timely manner, answer some questions about Wrench, and very much impress the customer with the whole mobile auto repair service side of things. He was so happy, he said he will never go anywhere else for auto repair and maintenance, and wanted me specifically only to repair and service his cars from now on. And to this day, I've serviced his cars multiple times, and always get to catch up on current events. Couldn't ask for a better first job with Wrench!"

How To Book An Appointment With One Of Our Automotive Technicians

If you would like to book an appointment with Ian or one of our other fantastic mobile technicians, simply go to the homepage of our website, download our mobile app, or reach out to us via phone call or email. We will be able to help you set up your appointment so you can get back on the road as soon as possible. To get the information we need to properly prepare for your appointment, we will ask you a couple of questions about your car and its needs.

First, we will need to know what kind of car you have. We will ask you for the year, make, and model as well as the VIN and license plate number. This will help us match you up with a mobile mechanic that has experience with your specific kind of vehicle, especially if it is a classic or exotic vehicle. We will also use this information to order the correct parts if you need a service that requires a replacement of any kind.

Then we will need to know what service your car needs. Some car owners know exactly what our mechanic needs to do whether that be a windshield wiper blade replacement or a battery replacement. If you aren't sure what service your car needs, we can perform a diagnostic check in which our mobile mechanic will figure out what is wrong and work with you to come up with a good solution.
