This week we are putting one of our Seattle techs in the spotlight, Ryan A. Ryan is an incredibly skilled technician, and we are so glad to have him on our team. Wrench customers describe him as professional, polite, hard-working, knowledgable, and much more. One customer called Ryan his hero, another said he was god sent, and some even say he is magic. The bottom line is that Ryan is a fantastic technician, and this recognition is far overdue.
Ryan is currently servicing customers in the greater Seattle metropolitan area. Whether you live in the suburbs of Lynnwood, Mukilteo, Woodinville, or in the high rises of downtown Seattle or Tacoma, we have mobile technicians that can come right to you. A lot of our technicians are experienced in the automotive industry through years and years of hard work. Ryan is no exception! He has worked in the industry for 13 years professionally. If you count the years he spent assisting his father, then it would be much longer.
When he was six years old, he decided he wanted to become a mechanic. Before that age, he spent so much time around cars that it just felt like a natural path for him. His father was a mechanic, and all through his childhood, he remembers watching his father fix cars, and eventually, he started helping out.
Here at Wrench, we are glad that Ryan had a professional role model that inspired him to join the automotive industry because we got a great technician. Ryan is experienced, kind, and a hard worker - what else could you ask for in a technician?
He could give customers plenty of good advice about their cars, but if he had to pick just one piece of advice, he would say this:
My advice to all my customers is maintenance. Be sure that you are getting maintenance services for your vehicle, because if you do, it can last so much longer. - Ryan A.
For almost three years, Ryan has been working with Wrench. That is equivalent to hundreds of mobile auto repair and maintenance services! We asked Ryan what is his most memorable service call so far, and this is what he said:
"I remember back to when I was starting with Wrench, working on a dodge van. The key would not turn at all. After a little bit of diagnostics, I found that the battery was causing the key not to turn. I cleaned the battery terminals, and the van worked great. The lady was so thrilled that I was able to fix her car for a fraction of what a locksmith would have charged. And just seeing someone so thrilled like that makes me feel great about the automotive industry and working for Wrench." - Ryan A.
Ryan likes a lot of things about working with Wrench and being a mobile mechanic, but his favorite part is traveling and meeting the customers.
"My favorite part about working for Wrench is that you are always someplace new. You also get to see the happiness on customer's faces when you get their car back in the road." -Ryan A.
In a traditional auto repair setting, mechanics are often given a vehicle with a problem without ever meeting the customer. But with Wrench, our technicians can take the keys directly from the hands of the customer and let them know that they will take good care of their car. Many techs, like Ryan, love how rewarding it is to see the joy customers have when their broken-down vehicle is finally back to its prime condition.
"Wrench has been a life-changing environment. I knew nothing about mobile mechanics and decided to take the risk, and it was well worth it. It’s not for everyone as you need both mechanical skills and customer service skills. And sometimes problems need to be solved in stressful situations. But all in all, well worth it. Wrench has a pretty good team to make sure things go as smoothly as possible." -Ryan A.

How To Book An Appointment With Wrench
To book your appointment with our mobile technicians like Ryan, go to our website and click "Get A Free Quote" or download our mobile app. If you have a Wrench account already, all you will need to do is sign in and select the car that needs a service. If you don't have an account, we will need to learn more about the type of vehicle you own and what services it needs before we can give you an accurate auto repair quote.
The first thing we will need to know is what kind of car you have. You should be able to provide us with the year, make, model, VIN, and license plate number. This information will help us prepare for your appointment to ensure that we bring the right parts and tools to repair your car. We will also use this information to match you up with the most qualified technician we have in your area. If we have a certain technician with a lot of experience with Ford vehicles and you are looking for a mobile mechanic to repair your Ford car, we will send that technician to your location.
Then you will tell us what service your car needs. If you are due for an oil change or tire rotation, just request the service you need, and we will send a technician to you. If you are unsure what service you need but your car has been showing signs of a breakdown, book a diagnostic appointment.
Once we know what kind of car you have and what service it needs, we will calculate an honest and transparent auto repair quote. This quote will include both a time and cost estimate so you know exactly what to expect. When you decide to accept our quote and move forward with the booking process, you will pick a date, time, and location that works best for you.
It's that easy to book an appointment with Wrench's expert technicians! In no time, you will be back on the road without a care in the world.
