Is Your Vehicle Located In A Safe Area

In order for our mobile mechanics to service your vehicle, it needs to be in a safe area. There are a lot of areas that we consider to be unsafe, but we will list some of the places that customers have tried to book an appointment with us. If you book an appointment and our mobile mechanic arrives and deems the service site unsafe. Our mobile mechanic will respectfully let you know and leave the location. We will be happy to reschedule your appointment in a safer location, but to avoid that problem, we will point out some of the areas that are not suitable for our auto repair and maintenance services.

We are not able to service your vehicle if it is located in the middle of the road. Even if the road is deserted and cars rarely pass by, you will need to move your car to a safer location. If you are able to push your car off of the road into a nearby parking lot, then we will be able to provide our auto repair and maintenance services.

Your car also needs to be away from traffic. We won't be able to perform our services on your vehicle if there is a chance that your car or our mechanic could get hit by nearby traffic. We will encourage you to move your car as far away from traffic as possible, then our mobile mechanic will be able to give you a hand.

While this next one might be hard to predict, we can't work on your car in dangerous or extreme weather conditions. This includes fires, flooding, earthquakes, hurricanes, extreme hail, and more. If there is a chance that our mobile mechanic could get injured while working, they will be instructed to leave and we will reschedule your appointment when the weather is better.

If your car is in an area with active thievery or other crime, our mobile mechanic won't be able to service your car. This isn't a very common occurrence, but it has happened. Just like the weather situation, if something occurs during the service, our mobile mechanic will have to leave the service site and we will reschedule your appointment.

We also can't service your car in areas with active construction. If you are having work done on your driveway or the parking lot you normally park at during work is undergoing improvements, you will need to choose a different location or postpone your appointment until the construction is finished.

Do you live near the ocean? Wrench is not able to service your car on a ferry or any other kind of moving platform. While that would be a convenient time to get your car repaired or maintained, we can't offer services in that location because of the cost to get on the ferry and the fact that it moves, causing an unstable work environment for our mobile mechanic.

Will Our Mobile Mechanic Be Able To Work On A Flat Location?

Another requirement for our convenient auto repair and maintenance services is that we need a flat location to be able to do our job. Attempting to service a car on a hill or slope could put our mobile mechanic or your car in danger as one wrong move could send your car rolling.

If you live on a hill or your driveway is at an angle, unfortunately, we won't be able to service your vehicle in that location. If that is the case for you, we recommend finding another location for your Wrench service. Even though we won't be able to work on your vehicle at your home, we can go to your office, a friend or parent's home, or even the local shopping mall.

How To Book An Auto Repair Appointment

If you have a service site location in mind that is in one of our existing markets and is safe and relatively flat, then you should book an appointment with our mobile mechanics today! Just go to the homepage of our website, download our mobile app from the app store, or contact us via phone call or email. We will gather a little information about your car and its needs, then we will provide you with a quote for your services.

The first thing we will ask you is about the type of car you have. You will need to give us a variety of information such as the color, year, make, and model. We will also need to know the VIN and license plate numbers. This information will help us better prepare for your appointment and we will bring the proper tools and parts to get your car back on the road.

Then we will ask you what kind of service your car needs. Here at Wrench, we offer hundreds of services from emergency repairs to routine maintenance. If you have a specific service in mind, like you know you need to get an oil change, you can request specific services. You can even request multiple services for one appointment. If you don't know what service your car needs, you should book a diagnostic appointment and our mobile mechanic will come to your location and help you figure out the next steps.

After all that, we will work on your auto repair quote. Our quote will be upfront and honest so you won't have to worry about paying any hidden fees. It will also include both a time and cost estimate so you can book your appointment on a date that will work best for you. You will be able to look over our quote and ask questions before you commit to booking your appointment. Once you agree to our quote, you will be able to move forward with the booking process and select a date, time, and specific location for your Wrench appointment. It's really that easy! In no time, we will arrive and get you back on the road so you can enjoy everything life has to offer.
