When Andrew was younger, his parents owned a 1997 Jeep XJ that he spent a lot of time working on. Ever since he can remember, he has been fascinated by the off-road community. As he learned more about the automotive industry and began experimenting, he discovered that he had a knack for repairing any and all aspects of a vehicle.
Andrew truly genuinely impresses some of our customers with his ability to quickly diagnose the issue and find a good solution. One customer, Jean H, actually calls him the "Jeep Whisperer" to all of their friends. While Andrew is certainly great with Jeeps and other American makes, he is capable of providing the same excellent services for almost any car. He has even had experience working on electric cars! No matter what kind of vehicle you have, you can rely on Andrew to get the job done efficiently.
We asked Andrew what his most memorable service call was and mentioned the "Jeep Whisperer" customer. "When I lived in Everett WA, I had a customer in Bothell who called me their Jeep Whisperer. I drive a 1974 Jeep Gladiator which really makes a first impression. They had multiple shops try to diagnose a few different issues on both their Jeep JK 4door and their Jeep Grand Cherokee, neither of which anyone could figure out. One day, I showed up and confirmed their issue on the Grand Cherokee and had it fixed within the hour diagnostic time. They were absolutely ecstatic about the repair. The Jeep JK proved a little more challenging, but finally narrowed the intermittent issue down to a single fuel injector. After both of those repairs, they didn’t want anyone else working on their Jeeps."
Andrew has a lot of good advice for Wrench's customers. "No job is too small. General maintenance is key to having a long-lasting and reliable vehicle. None of us like to spend money, but it will always pay off in the long run."
