- Pacific Coast Scenic Byway
This is one of the better coastal drives you could experience. The long 363 mile drive is full of spectacular ocean views and charming beach towns. You could stop in one of the many places along the way and dip your toes in the Pacific Ocean. The refreshing water is unlike anywhere else in the world. On this drive, you will also pass a few interesting stops like the Tillamook Creamery and the Hatfield Marine Science Center. Make sure you spend a few days on this drive because you will want to stop and walk around many times! - Historic Columbia River Highway Scenic Byway
This drive is much shorter than the Pacific Coast Scenic Byway, but it still features a ton of water attractions! Go on this drive to see the Columbia river or a few of the beautiful waterfalls in Oregon State. There will be plenty of trails and hiking spots along the way, so make sure to bring the proper footwear. Don’t leave your camera at home because the viewpoints in this drive are mind blowing! - Hells Canyon Scenic Byway
The Hells Canyon drive is very diverse in the attractions, so whether you want the city of the countryside, there is a little something for everyone! You will pass through Oregon University, where you can walk around the cute college town. You will also pass through farmland where different herbs and crops thrive. In this drive, we encourage you to bring your tent because there are a lot of places where you can get out of your car and spend the night sleeping under the stars. Be sure to take in the beauty of the Hells Canyon, this picturesque drive will be an adventure you will never forget. - Volcanic Legacy Scenic Byway
Drive past Crater Lake to see the site of a large volcanic eruption. This drive would be great for you if Crater Lake happens to be on your bucket list! If you are into cycling, this is also the drive for you as Rim Drive, the path that surrounds Crater Lake, is a popular cycling route. Make sure you bring your fishing poles and swim suits because you can stop at Upper Klamath Lake for a day on the water. - Mount Hood Scenic Byway
You can find gorgeous views of Mt. Hood on this drive! You will drive along the Hood River, which is a great area for kayaking and other river attractions. So make sure you come prepared if you want to stop and enjoy the nature. The ground is extremely fertile in the Hood River Valley so you will be able to see a lot of fruit growing! Pack your hiking boots because along this drive, there will be many opportunities to slip them on and wander the forests of Oregon. - Oregon Outback Scenic Byway
Drive through the vast Great Basin with this drive. You’ll see tons of golden grass fields and rocky areas, a good drive for those who want to slow their pace and simply enjoy driving their car. This would be a great drive if you are looking to spot some wildlife, although in every drive you are likely to see a few different animals. When you get to Paisley, consider stopping at the local Hot Springs to unwind and relax with this all natural soak. - Trees to Seas Scenic Byway
Again, enjoy Oregon’s famous coastline with this short 68 mile drive. This is perfect if you don’t have a ton of time for your road trip because you could do it all in one day and still stop at your favorite destinations. If you are a wine lover, keep your eye out for tasting rooms when you drive through Tualatin Valley. They are well known for their delicious Pinot Noir wine. You will also pass the Tillamook Creamery, another popular stopping place for ice cream and cheeses. In this drive, we recommend bringing you beach gear because you’ll want to stop at one of the many sandy beaches along the way! - Umpqua River Scenic Byway
This drive has very similar attractions to the Trees to Seas Scenic Byway, but here you will drive along the Umpqua River rather than the coast. Wine lovers should check out this drive because you will find plenty of high quality wines in these valleys. Also be sure to bring your binoculars so you can see all the wildlife, including Roosevelt Elk. If you come in the fall, you might even be able to hear their loud mating calls. - Blue Mountain Scenic Byway
In this drive you will be able to see the Blue Mountains, a range that happens to appear blue from a distance. Before you embark on this journey, be sure to fill up your gas tank because there are large areas with no gas stations. Bring your tents! There are many opportunities for camping and horseback riding along this drive. You will also see plenty of wildlife along this drive, specifically birds and longhorn sheep! - Cascade Lakes Scenic Byway
This drive has a little something for everyone! You’ll find Bend, one of the larger cities in that region, a volcano known as Mt. Bachelor, and a lake called Devils Lake. Towards the end of the drive, there will be even more lakes, perfect for fishing and boating. The views you will get of the cascade range are unlike anything you will ever see, so hop in your car and head on over!
